We take the health of our dogs and puppies very seriously. All our parent dogs are genetically tested for 230+ genetic health risks. If they meet our standards genetically, we then test them thoroughly through OFA.

Our puppies’ health is a high priority even before birth. They are routinely weighed to monitor growth. We deworm them every 2 weeks. At 6 weeks, they are taken to our vet for a full exam and first round of vaccines.

In addition to physical health, we ensure our puppies have excellent mental and emotional health as well. We begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) beginning on day 3. This has been scientifically shown to improve puppies’ growth, immune, and cardiovascular systems.

Once the puppies open their eyes and begin to toddle about, we offer several different activities to stimulate a confident and well-socialized puppy. When appropriate, they are introduced to other dogs and animals on our ranch, so they are comfortable with dogs other than mom and siblings.

Our dogs are first and foremost our own beloved pets who live with us in our home, not outdoors in kennels. The puppies are whelped and raised in our home as well. Each one is handled, loved, and snuggled daily. They grow up accustomed to normal everyday sounds of a busy household.

Until the puppies become a permanent part of your family, they are a fully integrated part of ours. Our puppies are not a part of an institutionalized system. They are 100% homegrown.
