They Crashed Our Party in the Cutest Way Possible

Ruby was due to have her puppies on December 30th, but Rosie beat her to the punch. We weren’t sure how much longer she could hold on because she literally looked like a beached whale with red fur.

We were hosting a small family party for New Year’s Eve at our house. I knew ahead of time I wouldn’t be able to go elsewhere to celebrate with 2 dogs so close to their due dates, so I decided to host the party myself.

The party officially started at 1 pm and by 2 pm, Ruby was popping out puppies! 5+ hours later, NINE puppies had all arrived safely, but the party was pretty much over. Yes, we go to bed early on New Year’s Eve. It happens when you get older. The kids stay up to count down till midnight though.
